DIRECTIONS

The Stephen Phillips Memorial Scholarship Fund is administered in offices at 27 Flint Street in Salem, Massachusetts. We are steps away from the Stephen Phillips House at 34 Chestnut Street, the fascinating Phillips family house museum, which is open for tours Tuesday through Sunday from June 1 through October 31st.

Directions

From Boston, take Route 93 North. Take Rte 128 (95) North: Direction Peabody and New Hampshire destinations. When Routes 95 and 128 split, stay on Route 128. From Route 128 take Route 114 East to Salem. Take a right onto Essex Street. Turn left at the first stop light onto Flint Street, where we are the brick building on the corner. The left turn immediately after you pass by our building is Chestnut Street, where there is on-street parking.

From the North, take Route 95 south to Route 1 South in Danvers, then to Route 114 East to Salem. (There is no exit from Route 95 South to Route 114 East.) Take a right onto Essex Street. Turn left at the first stop light onto Flint Street, where we are the brick building on the corner. The left turn immediately after you pass by our building is Chestnut Street, where there is on-street parking.

By Train from North Station in Boston, take either the Rockport or the Newburyport Commuter Rail line to Salem. From the Salem train station, proceed up the stairs, cross the street, and proceed down Washington Street to Norman Street. (Dunkin Donuts is on your right.) Take Norman Street to Chestnut Street. (Norman Street ends at Summer Street and becomes Chestnut Street.) Follow Chestnut Street to the end and turn right onto Flint Street . #27 Flint Street is the first brick building you come to. Walking time from the Salem train station to the Scholarship Office is about 10 minutes.
